Book Talk: Tim Forster, author of ‘Robert Calvert: Through His Work’

June 26 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
The Friends of Halesworth Library are delighted to present the 33rd in their monthly series: “Thursday Book Talk”
Tim Forster, author of ‘Robert Calvert: Through His Work’
Tim has lived in Halesworth for 35 years. Over the last 20 years he has studied with the OU and most recently completed an MA in Art History. In July 2024 Tim self published Robert Calvert: Through His Work, a (semi) academic study of the multidisciplinary art practice of writer, singer, lyricist, poet, actor and novelist Robert Calvert. The talk should appeal to anyone interested in Hawkwind, 70s music, cultural history, political history, the 60s/70s counterculture.
Talk and refreshments are free, but donations to the Friends are always welcome. It really helps with planning if you can sign up ahead and is essential if you have any special (e.g. seating) requirements. Ask at the Library Counter; phone the Library on 01986 875095; or email: friendsofhalesworthlibrary@gmail.com
