Narrow gauge model railway show, railway films, and light refreshments in the village hall. Heritage railway display, railway book sale. Re-instated main line track, platform, and goods sidings and large live steam model railway at the station. Narrow gauge goods wagons. Award-winning restored original Goods Shed. Display of found artefacts. Our demonstration goods trains will be ‘hauled through the power of the sun’: the 88-year-old battery-electric locomotive is charged by solar panels. Free entry to site, free tea, coffee and cake. See our progress in the unearthing and restoration of this unique and historic 1879 narrow gauge station.
How to find us: the station is on the northern edge of Blythburgh village. It is signposted off the A12. Car parking is in the field adjacent to the Holy Trinity Church car park. Blue badge disabled parking ONLY at the village hall
