The Halesworth Vinyl Collective is a new community-rooted initiative designed to make high quality music listening accessible to everyone and to encourage collaborative vinyl record selection, presentation, listening and discussion.
Based on their collaborative book of the same name, BBC Radio Suffolk’s Stephen ‘Foz’ Foster and photographer David Kindred will tell the story of Ipswich’s Gaumont/Regent theatre in the 1950s and 1960s when the venue rocked to the sounds of some of pop’s most legendary names, including Buddy Holly, the Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
