Mr Sanders Sports Camp is available Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 9am-3pm at Holton St Peter Primary School – lots of sporting fun to be had. Edgar Sewter Primary School also run a holiday club Monday – Friday with crafts, games, outdoor play and more. Both Clubs are open to pupils from all local schools.
Book in to Purple Pumpkin Creative Studio and try your hand at pottery painting or glass fusing. There is a huge selection of items to paint and helpful staff on hand to guide you, plus hot drinks and snacks. Open Monday – Saturday 10am-4pm (1.30pm opening on Tuesday). Be sure to book asap as the studio gets very busy over school holidays.
Pay a visit to the Halesworth & District Museum, situated at the train station just a short walk from the town centre. During the Winter months, they are open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 12.30pm. Entry is free and there are several interactive exhibits, ancient hoards, shiny coins, local history and more. Think of some questions before you go and ask the knowledgeable volunteers.
Join Pauline and crew for a free picnic lunch at St Mary’s Church on Thursday 20th. All are welcome. There will also be a toy and school uniform exchange so please bring along your donations and pick up some new bits.
The Library have a brilliant and free make your own bird feeder and seed planting event on between 2-3pm on Friday 21st. Come along and enjoy the fun. And of course borrow some books, DVD’s or CD’s to take home and keep the youngsters entertained! Don’t forget Lego Club every Saturday between 12-1pm.

Tulua’s Fish & Chips are also offering children’s meals for £1 when bought with a main meal between 19-22nd February. Explore our Thoroughfare and Market Place shops and see what you can discover. Visit on a Wednesday to see the Market Traders too.
Head to the Cut Arts Centre. Sit and chill in the large dog friendly café, peruse the latest exhibition or head to the top to discover the Malt Experience – an interactive exhibition about Halesworth’s interesting history as a brewing town.
Halesworth’s huge Millennium Green is an excellent place to walk, run, cycle, scoot, hop, skip, jump, at any time of year. And now the bridge is back open the access to the beautiful folly is much easier. Wear your wellies for some puddle splashing. Visit on Thursday 20th to help with some tree and shrub planting! Don’t forget your spade.
Send the older children and teenagers to the Skatepark for some fresh air, a kick about in the park or a bounce at the basketball courts.
