We are a small traditional family run, and family friendly, eco-campsite that aims to offer a few luxuries and extras. We try to provide everything to make your stay with us enjoyable as possible. We also have a one bedroom, characterful, comfortable and homely holiday cottage, which is a converted Wheelwright’s.
Our campsite is a great place to unwind, get away from it all and have fun, for a holiday or short break. We have 14 pitches, of which 10 have electric hook up. The campsite is a grass field (with native hedging, a willow living fence and a wood chip path meandering through). It provides us with the opportunity to create a warm, friendly, secluded, back-to-nature environment in which to camp. We aim to provide fantastic habitats for both wildlife and campers! Our shower block is bright and airy, with underfloor heating for those cooler evenings. We have spacious showers, toilets and a wash cubicle. We aim to be as sustainable as possible, so encourage guests to recycle as much as possible and to compost. We have solar panels to supply much of our electricity, solar showers and a rain water harvest tank. We have a small onsite shop, where we promote local suppliers and producers. Our holiday cottage is open plan downstairs, with exposed beams and lots of history linked with its past as a wheelwright’s. It has a modern kitchen, a living and dining area, downstairs toilet, upstairs shower room and large, bright double bedroom with king size bed.
