INK Festival came to town in April and Halesworth shone in the sunshine it heralded. Blue and yellow flags dressed the town and we were all engulfed in the joy of live performance.
The unassuming Scout Hut and even St Mary’s Church were amongst ten of the venues transformed into stages for actors, poets and comedians. The Cut welcomed some great names including Jake Fiennes, The Comedy Store Players and Charlie Mackesy, all captured on TV by BBC Look East.
Sunday Funday filled The Market Place with local families who enjoyed all the fun entertainment and food! The cafes and pubs were busy and everyone was smiling. Thank you INK.
The good news is that The INK Festival returns next year 24-27th April 2025, so save the date.
